PRACTICAL WEEKEND PROGRAMMES
Self-hypnosis and regression work
The weekend programme “Self-hypnosis and regression work” provides a practical introduction to self-hypnosis, formulating suggestions and responsible work with regression material. It is delivered online or in person, according to the date and format announced in advance.
Online or in person • according to the announced dateThe programme is intended for people who want to understand how hypnotic attention is established, how self-hypnosis is practised without a therapist guiding the exercise and how inner experience can be explored in a structured way.
The work is based on direct experience. Participants carry out practical exercises, become familiar with their internal structure and learn procedures they can later use independently.
Self-hypnosis exercises
Self-hypnosis is based on a person's ability to direct their own attention, reduce the influence of external distractions and work with a clearly defined intention.
During the programme, participants learn:
- how to prepare for an exercise;
- how to establish a state of focused attention independently;
- how to deepen and stabilise the experience;
- how to formulate short, clear and realistic suggestions;
- how to conclude the exercise properly and return to their usual state of alertness;
- how to establish a personal rhythm of independent practice.
Particular attention is given to distinguishing a general wish from a precisely defined aim. A suggestion is not a vague command a person gives themselves. It should establish a clear direction for the work that the person can understand, accept and connect to concrete behaviour.
Regression and imagery exercises
Regression exercises direct attention towards earlier experiences, emotional associations, inner images and patterns that may be connected to the person's present experience.
Their purpose is not a mechanical “return to the past”. Participants explore how a particular feeling, inner image or recurring pattern operates in their present experience.
Material that appears during an exercise is treated as subjective material for understanding and further work. It is not automatically accepted as a historically accurate memory, proof of a repressed event or confirmation of a past life.
Symbolic images, bodily feelings, fragments of memory and imagery-based material may have personal meaning even when they cannot be confirmed as literal facts. Attention is therefore directed towards their function in present experience, rather than towards imposing a pre-determined explanation.
How is the programme organised?
The programme combines short, clear explanations with direct practical work. Each exercise is first prepared, then performed and subsequently discussed. In this way, participants learn to distinguish the structure of the procedure from the personal material that appeared during the exercise.
Practical work includes:
- an introduction to the basic principles of hypnosis;
- exercises for directing and sustaining attention;
- independent formulation of suggestions;
- self-hypnosis exercises;
- regression and imagery exercises;
- understanding the material experienced without rushed or unverified conclusions;
- preparation for independent practice after the programme.
Participants should not only experience a hypnotic exercise. They should also understand its structure, its limits and how it can be repeated responsibly.
Online or in person
The programme is offered in two formats.
The online programme allows participants to take part from their own space. They need a quiet place, a stable internet connection and conditions in which they will not be interrupted during practical exercises.
The in-person programme allows direct group work, demonstration of the procedure and exercises in a shared space.
The content and basic principles remain the same in both formats. The mode of attendance and organisation of the practical component differ.
Responsible regression work
A regression exercise is not an examination, an attempt to prove something or a search for an event expected in advance. Participants are not told what they should see, feel or remember.
The work is based on three principles:
No imposition of content — participants are not told what kind of experience should appear.
No conversion of experience into fact — material that appears is not automatically declared to be an accurate memory.
No premature interpretation — meaning is not assigned before the material is connected to the person's present experience.
This approach preserves the value of inner experience while preventing suggestion from taking the place of verified fact.
Who is the programme for?
The programme is intended for people who want to:
- learn the basic procedure of self-hypnosis;
- develop a safer and more structured independent practice;
- understand how suggestions are formulated;
- explore recurring inner and emotional patterns;
- become familiar with regression exercises without mystification or unsupported claims;
- connect what they have learned with a specific aim in their personal work.
The programme is educational, practical and experiential. It does not replace individual medical, psychological or psychotherapeutic treatment when such treatment is required.
